Batam Again

So back we went to the Batam orphanage, and we did pretty well in terms of cooking and eating. We had ayam penyet at Nagoya, and the iced avocado drink was a winner.

The ayam penyet was great but the serving was a bit too small.

Our marketing for the orphanage

We were cooking soup with white carrot, carrots, pork and potatoes

In went the onions too

Pork ready to go in

We also cooked tau yu pork - check out the streaks of fat!

The soup halfway there

Chopping cabbage

Veggies on the side waiting to be fried

The eggs and pork smelling really good

We added in taukua

Food ready to be served

Dinner by candlelight

Veggies with bakso
And more ayam penyet at the ferry terminal on the way home the next day
